Pardo wrote in a legal declaration that he was laid off in July and had been denied state unemployment payments in August. He said he was "desperately seeking" work with many companies. He complained in a court declaration that Sylvia Pardo was living with her parents, not paying rent, and had spent lavishly on a luxury car, gambling trips to Las Vegas, meals at fine restaurants, massages and golf lessons.
Documents from the divorce show Bruce Pardo got their house, which was valued at more than a half-million dollars, but the couple only had $106,000 in equity in it. The mortgage was $2,700 a month, a declaration said.
He complained in a filing that he had monthly expenses of $8,900 and ran a monthly deficit of $2,678.
In June, the court ordered him to pay $1,785 a month in spousal support and put him on a payment plan of $450 a month for $3,570 that was unpaid.
His attorney, Stanley Silver, told The Associated Press his client had trouble making the support payments after he lost his job in July, but spousal support was waived in the settlement last week. Bruce Pardo was trying to pay $10,000 to finalize the divorce proceedings, Silver said, and he never showed any anger or instability.
"All of my dealings with him were always pleasant and cheerful," said Silver, who heard from him last on Tuesday.
Friends and neighbors described Bruce Pardo as a cheerful man who seemed upbeat and doted on a big, brown Akita he owned with his former wife. He stood more than 6 feet tall and was always gentle and kind, said Jan Detanna, head usher at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montrose, where Pardo volunteered.
Police said Pardo had no criminal record or history of violence, and neighbors and others knew him as a friendly man who walked his dog and was a volunteer usher at his parish church.
. . . and then he SNAPPED but for the court and the Bar association, life goes on.
When will the legislature do something about the family court thugs and law thieves? It is a real wonder this doesn't happen more often. He actually got a better deal than he would have in Thurston/Hazard County. CNN News and Fox News reported that he had his ex's attorney on the list but was too badly burned to finish his list. As reported on the Pundit earlier in the year, seeing an attorney or judge on the list is not surprising. The ex-laws, ok, that's not uncommon. But, his mom? Reportedly, she turned on him too and supported the ex at his trial and was supposed to be at the ex-laws Christmas party where it all went down. Nice mom! So, here's a mild mannered guy who's life was destoyed by the family law racket and feminism, lost his dog, lost his kid and was all alone and, at the end of the day, he was forced into debt, outrageous "support" payments for the ex wife's Vegas trips and had lost his job (likely from the toll of the family court torture process that made some attorneys a lot of money they didn't earn or deserve). Voila, there's your outcome of the Wimmins Movement combined with the racketeering family court. They didn't say there was a restraining order in place. I'm sure that would have made all the difference. Just ask Schaller and Cain about the Roberts family (Case Number: 07-3-00112-4) that they are personally responsible for killing and leaving the kids as orphans. The question in that case isn't how ridiculous and lame Peg Cain's classes are or how absurdly ineffective restraining orders are for those who "snap" or have murder on their mind. No, ask Schaller and Cain how it is they feel about pushing a man to his breaking point for their over inflated egos and for profit. Schaller, Casey and Cain are the biggest bullies on the playground. Regardless, a man wiped of his wealth or anything he had worked for and alone from his only son on Christmas. Gee, what a surprise . . . he snapped. Sad and Tragic. You will all point your grimy little fingers at him. But, one day, the family law racket will have a reckoning. When will the family court abuse be addressed by the lawmakers? That is a rhetorical question because the lawmakers are made up of attorneys. So, the next question is when will the people take up pitch forks and torches to oust the attorneys making the family court laws even more outrageous? Only time will tell.
